    ANSWER (sorry TL, you did too much math): Only the pony. Het MET them on the way...which means they were traveling in the opposite direction

    On the way could have meant that the others were going there too but just came from a different path. You know what I say makes sense but I knew you were gonna pull a 'Quizmo' trick on me!!
