I got a riddle for ya -- if you havent seen it -- and I am NOT reading 34 pages of em

here ya go -- free pass to the secret room if ya get it right

3 sailors go into a motel to get a room
the desk lady says only got 1 room -- 30 bucks
all 3 sailors pitch in $10 each and share the room

about a 1/2 hr later the desk lady feels guilty - seeing as the room really only costs $25 -- she gives a $5 to the bellboy and tells him to give it to the sailors

in the elevator the bellboy figures 3 sailors cant split $5 three ways - so he keeps $2 for himself and then gives each sailor $1 back

that means that each sailor paid $9 each

    3 x $9 = $27

    Bellboy kept $2 --- 2 + 27 = $29

    where'd the other dollar go????

FYI - I DON'T want a free pass to the secret room...

    This is a mathematical loophole.

Technically each of the three sailors paid $8.33 per room. ($25/3=8.33).

    $8.33x3 = $25+$3 (the bellboy returned) = $28+$2 (the bellboy kept to himself)=$30.

    There is no missing dollar.

I liked how Gizmo ignored my correct answer in post #331 , then went on to BS about TC's riddle by saying it was too early, etc. then posted his own riddle while probably still searching for the TC's riddle on google....lol.

    So Lame Giz!
