Did you run any of the online scans recommended here
If so, did you save any of the logs? If you did you need to post those also.
Did you run the AVG anti-spy program also recommended there?
If so, please post the log here also.
How did you attempt to enter Safe Mode? Did you use the F8 method?
Try it this way;
Start, Run, type in msconfig.
Once System Configuration opens then go to the BOOT.INI tab and place a checkmark in Safe Boot. Click ok.
Shut down and allow it to boot up. If will ask if you want to boot in safe mode, say yes.
If you cannot get into Safe Mode either way then don't worry about it right now.
Notice in your log a lot of AOL items running, one of them is AOL Anti-spyware. Are you also running the AOL Security Suite? If so this includes a firewall, virus program and anti-spy program and show you are running the AVG anti-virus program and Zone Alarm. If you ARE running the AOL Security Suite then you must either uninstall that OR the AVG anti-virus and Zone Alarm. Only one anti-virus and one firewall should run on a system.
Have you disabled the Windows Firewall?
Did you run the ATF-Cleaner?
The reason I ask all of this is that I really am not seeing any malware in your HJT log but there has to be a reason for the computer running slowly. You are running some programs unnecessarily at Start up and in the back ground also.
Give me more information on the computer itself...hard drive size, how much RAM is installed. It appears through your log that you are connected to the internet via dial-up, is this correct?
yes i ran the kasperspy scan. it said all was clear but there was around 10 items that it said it couldnt scan because it was 'blocked' i tried to save the scan log but it wouldnt let me.
i was able to boot in safe mode the way you told me too. i ran all the scans everthing came back clean.
i dont think im running the aol suite (i never agreed to it anyway)
win firewall is disabled
yes, i ran aft cleaner
i have cable for my connection.
my computer is a dell 8200 pent 4 cpu 2.00ghz 256 ram
i know that the ram is low but for some reason the ram for this computer is very expensive so its not worth buying (it would make more sense to buy a new computer....but im not ready for that yet)
when i put the hijack log in the analizer it showed that some of the aol was in red. i tried to delete but it came right back. it wasnt all the aol just 4 things. i thought maybe it was something trying to pretend it was aol?
thanks, i hope i answered everthing!!

Don't use the analyzer at this time. When it flags something it means you should check it out, it does not necessarily mean that the entry should be fixed.
Can you give me the AVG-Anti-spy log?
is that the same as avg virus?
here is the scan for avg.

Was this run in safe mode?
You say the computer is slow...all the time or just when using the web? I know using cable that you essentially are "online" all the time but when you are doing something that does not require your internet service, for instance typing a document or something like that, is it still slow?
Is it slow booting up or shutting down or just all the time?
Has it always been slow? If not, had you installed anything new...software or hardware just prior to the slowdown?
i havent installed anything new but i noticed that one of my kids was on youtube and my kids aslo use myspace.
its slow and lags when its online and when its not online. the boot time seems slow but it always was.
im pretty sure i ran the avg in safe mode. i know for sure that i ran the other scans in safe mode
