You might wind up worse off with a cruiser/trike.

I had to quit working at the dealer since road testing the new cruisers put alot of vertical strain on my lower back, when I hit bumps in the road, it was like jumping off a tailgate or something..

Bumps on the sportbikes were less painfull than the cruisers mainly due to the riding position, leaning over the tank put less vertical strain on the problem area. Maybe you need a lighter sport bike? like an R6, or cbr600?

The best position would be when there is a lady riding in the back to provide some extra support!
Or even better with a lady in front and one in the back!

    ....ehem...what were we talking about??
