You should also consider a good firewall, if you haven't already. Perhaps try an integrated security suite such as Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 with both AV and Firewall.
Heck, the free trial period ought to be plenty long enough to serve your purpose. . . .

I put Zone Alarm on the computer when I knew that it had to go on the internet I was told that it was a good firewall and after reading your link about prevent malware and what not, it seems that I should be in good shape. Thanks for the advice.
