Computer starting to get clumsy

well after uninstalling McAfee and removing all the files etc.. like 8 months ago.. the PC was running smoothly.. its only like in past few weeks that my PC has gone slow.. also maybe this is related to some hardware problem.. who knows..
and i just finished running the scandisk

well as u said that my pc will not be fixed.
anyway you know the safest and fastest way to do a WinXP clean install.. without loosing any bookmarks.. important documents and not having to update windows XP like a million times and also restarting my PC again and again.. also the drivers need to be taken care of.

if you know some thing like SP3 being too heavy on my hardware etc..pls tell me..
