    Oh yeah, that's right. He rearranged the letters to get his GIN not realizing he could WIN with SIN.

    ANSWER (Wow...not guesses): Night falls, but doesn't break, Day breaks but never falls.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    NEXT RIDDLE:

    Look at the sentence below and see if you can find the reason why all the 2 letter words have a common trait. What is hidden among the words in the sentence:

    "Hi! Ma and Pa told me I'd better say that all the two-letter words in this paragraph have something in common ...... or else!"

    Oh, right, there was a riddle.

    I did try, but I was looking for something that fulfilled both requirements since you used the word "and" to link the statements.

    I wonder if this could be stated another way.

    How about this?

    In the stated sentence, all words with only 2 letters (regardless of punctuation) share a common characteristic, other than the fact that they are 2 letters. What is it?

    Hadn't meant for you to actually restate the question. Just trying to be cryptically cute.

    They are all the two letter abbreviations for US states
    HI = Hawaii
    MA = Massachusetts
    PA = Pennsylvania
    OR = Oregon
    ID = Idaho
    IN = Indiana
    ME = Maine

    I probably should have capitalized State, but I thought that might have given away too much of the answer.
