I think its nothing more than government greed. Just another reason to tax everyone a little bit harder.

20 years ago, we were going into the next ice age.

I won't go deep into it...

IMHO - It's just the natural cycle of the earth....

Global warming is a reality and if we don't stop killing the ozone and producing greenhouse gases, it will only get worse. But big companies such as the oil industry and goverments don't care since all they want is money, so things wont change. I give the planet another couple 100 years if that. I'll be dead but I feel sorry for future generations as well as wildlife (if any is left) that have to cope were our mistakes.

A really important "environmental" issue right now is being overshadowed by the current "popularity" of global warming topics.... If you care; start small NOW.... Get together and SAVE the gualala from the grape growers that want to CLEAR CUT a natural headwater's that's supposed to be federally protected wilderness..... If you want to do something over and over to stop global warming, stop the industrial rape of the land; the wasted energy on generating revenue, live from the fruit of the land, not the ROOT...

All they want to do is pilfer a beautifull "all natural" environment, and destroy an unmanipulated free flowing all natural river system that should be a national treasure and national protected area..... There aren't many like it left!!!! Doesn't napa make enough wine? maybe prohibition is the beginning of the end of the "LURE OF THE DOLLAR" that wine makers provide to grape growers.... These river/watershed systems are the life blood of the global environment; the "SOURCE" of life revolves around the forrests and waters and the cleanlyness of the water that flows through the rivers, the forrests are "filters" to trap silt and prevent the rivers from choking to death on mud... They plan to cut down tree's sell the wood, put in grape vines and make money off the grapes by selling them to wine makers, that make alcoholic beverages, many of which will be involved in "teenage auto accidents" resulting in deaths..... Don't let the qualala turn into napa.

Yeah - People can politicize it and call it global warming or climate change or whatever they want, but the ugly reality (almost said Inconvenient Truth - but I think I'll stick with Ugly Reality) is that the polar ice caps are melting at an alarming rate. Couple this with the droughts many countries are seeing (including US) and it adds up to some scary sh!t for future generations....
