Oddly enough, it's a knockoff that's rumored to have more connectivity options, an open source OS, is an unlocked phone, has a user replaceable battery and several other improvements for $150 less and no contract requirements.
Basically it's what Apple should have released.
Meizu's M8
I've got a Meizu mp3/media player and it is very nice. Their quality is pretty good, can't say if it's longevity is first rate though since I've only had it for a month. It's not strictly an i-pod ripoff, but you can see the i-pod's influence for sure.
