Thank you for taking the time respond to my problem. Although my computer is rather old (2.1 Ghz, 512 mb ram, 120GB HD Compaq Presirio) it used to run rather quick, until about a year ago. My son seemed to have downloaded a nasty bug with some music he found. I have been living with the problem and have had some "experts" look at it....it's still very slow (Hard drive takes too much time searhing for files, computer is very slow to start up...takes forever).

I have tried to clean up as much as I could per you instructions. Please take hold of my hand and walk me from here.

--A HJT Log from each user account would be a good start.
(don't forget to rename hijackthis.exe as per the sticky)

-- Also, a scanlog from Kaspersky Online Scan (also in sticky post) would be great. This will cover all user accounts.

-- And last, please update you AVG Anti-Spyware definitions and run a full system scan and include that log.

Please follow all the steps here
including the Kaspersky and AVG Anti-spy. Post back with all logs and also the HJT scans for each user.
