help with MS access

im working on a database for work and i am trying to set up my table to input a date from a priveous date.

for example:

the date i have from a priveous field is 1 dec 2006 and i would like to subtract 150 days from that date to go into the new field.

What program are you using? We reallly need a lot more information here.

yea sorry im using microsoft access from office 2003
i have the table inported form an excell sheet i was using and that was easy but now my boss wants it in access. what i am trying to figure out is, i have a termination date and i have paperwork i need to send out 150days before that date. so i want access to automaticly input that date into the next field

termination date: 1 dec 06
send paperwork: 1 dec 06 - 150
