    Sure...am searching through GMail help and here are things I have found;
Access to Gmail from countries and territories outside the United States may be limited because of proxy issues.

Some security and anti-virus software and browser toolbars may cause the Send button to malfunction. If this happens, log out of Gmail and disable or reconfigure the software or toolbar. Then clear your browser's cache and log back in to Gmail.
Here's how to clear your cache in Internet Explorer 6.x:
    1. Log out of your Gmail account. Close all other open browser windows.
    2. Click the Tools menu at the top of your browser, and select Internet Options.
    3. Click the General tab at the top of the dialogue box.
    4. Click Delete Files under Temporary Internet files.
    5. Select Delete all offline content by checking the box.
    6. Click OK.
    In Internet Explorer 7:
    1. Log out of your Gmail account and close all other open browser windows.
    2. Click Tools > Internet Options.
    3. Select the General tab.
    4. Click Delete under Browsing History.
    5. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files.
    6. Click Delete Cookies.
    7. Click OK.
Here's how to clear your cache in Firefox:
    1. Log out of your Gmail account and close all other open browser windows.
    2. Click the Tools menu at the top of your browser and select Clear Private Data...
    3. Select the Cookies and Cache checkboxes.
    4. Click Clear Private Data Now.
In some cases, it may be necessary to clear your cache more than once to completely fix the problem.

Have gone back through your thread....I am so confused now I have no idea what it is even you are trying to do....
Are you trying to access specific pages and fill out forms ON THOSE pages? OR are you trying to EMAIL forms someplace?
To me, anyway, that smtp error refers to EMAIL, there is no reason why it should be coming up on a web page.
If you cannot SEE the web page then the problem lies with your browser.
Look at my attachment, is that what you cannot see?

    hello i have returned!
without sounding like a know it all,
i frequently delete tempary internet files in the browser to prevent viruses hiding in them.
    this also clears cache right
to be honest its not a problem with the sending mail,
    thats fine.
    its just the submits.
and i have got clear all data set to firefox already.

    right,
there is no problem with viewing any web sites at all.
its just when i press submit on the form/s
it goes to a white screen with the text i posted you before about xml data.
so its not a browser viewing problem but something in the browser that allows you to send information from site forms etc.
    follow?

Well I am sorry, but can go no farther with this one. Maybe somebody else can help. It is obvious to me that the problem lies with the browser, possible security settings or possible settings that do not allow you to view this. It may be the trojans have damaged your system in which case the answer is a reformat.
