help! smtp denies access with submit forms?

PSH - This is a free public forum that is run. We all volunteer the time and work that go into this. Most of us have other jobs and do not get paid for this.

Are you trying to use the Gmail web-based email for your email, or a 3rd party application such as Outlook express?

My EXACT thought....I thought you were just filling in forms on a website? What the heck does that have to do with mailing something?

Some forms, and I can't be sure about this one, actually prompt the computer to use the mail program to send, and I haven't tried this one...so this may be the case...

i have just changed the setting to i.e
and still nothing!

Are you using the gmail notifier? If so, what browser is it set to use and is the box checked to use it for mailto links?

yep i am using it
the box is checked
and its set to system default
