help! smtp denies access with submit forms?

it now says hijackthis.log
and when i put the arrow on it says text document.

That's why it's not uploading...it should be hijackthislog.txt

If it's a text file the name should be .txt

Try renaming the file, remove the .log and type .txt and try uploading.

Well, let's go back to the folder options and this time, click on file types. Look for TXT and tell me what the program is for that extension.

ive got general tab and view tab.
and its not in them.
wheres the best place to go to folder options from?

Yes, that's fine.

Now, I need some tech input on this. Is there a way to specify what the filename should be for HJT logs? I don't remember and I'm not at my home PC to take a look.

i have looked through all the config tabs and theres nothing to change the program on which it processes the log files.
unless i have missed it.

hmmm....do a HJT run and save the log file, but make sure there are no other programs open when doing so. Once you've done that post up a new log file for us.
