    Look X_Jado_X, we have all been telling you this for months now and you have been ignoring us, this of course is your choice. Sooner or later this thing is going to crash. You only have 8% of your hard drive free space remaining. Your original post here Slow Computer
    on January 12 we told you what you needed to do to get your computer running faster and that was get rid of some of what you have stored on the computer and free up some hard drive space and your answer was
    I'll have a look later on and delete some music and photos and stuff.
    Yesterday I gave the instructions on how to burn these files to a CDR, get them off the hard drive and then how to use that CDR to put the music back onto your iPod. If you download tunes via iTunes then it IS on your hard drive.
    And then today;
    Or should I just change it so that when I install my iPod I can play the songs via iTunes?
    My reply to you now is the same as it was then, put this stuff on CDR's and free up some drive space.
    You really are "playing with fire" here...you now don't want to allow the live updates for your Norton Program because it inturrupts your game playing.
    Your original post here was Jan 1. Problems with your X-Box, next you posted about a slow computer, WHILE still posting problems with the X-Box, next was problems with a corrupted download, then problems downloading Frontpage, then problems with the Norton updates, and now the problems with defrag....does this tell you anything?
    I am not saying you will never have another problem if you do clean out the hard drive, but they certainly will make a difference. Everytime you download something new you are filling up the hard drive even more. Sooner rather than later it is going to get too full to do anything and it will crash and you will lose everything....music included. And when that happens there is NO WAY to get that back...it will be gone.

    Jado,

    I second everything that Judy says. If you don't want to clean up all of the stuff on the computer, you should really take it to someone who knows what they are doing and have a second drive installed and keep all of your music, videos, games, etc on it.
