Neither are malware, just you had two entries of AOL in your log and no others, which IS unusual...I will be honest, it is a PAIN to remove from a computer. Not one of my favorites, that is for sure.

I do use AIM occasionally myself however but that is all. But what I use is a little program called AimLite.
This is, as the download site states;
AIMLite is AOL Instant Messenger but with these features:
