Blue Screen?

A few days ago, I started getting a Blue Screen when I shut down my computer and then it would start up all over again and when it boots up, it shows a message saying that windows has recovered from an error.

I finally caught something on the blue screen, usbhub.sys.

Below is the details for the message that comes up upon startup.

I don't use the USB portion of my keyboard. The rest of my USB are all connected to my hub.. does that mean I would have to unplug the hub before I boot up my computer? This has never happened before and I have always left the hub connected.

Also I am on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.. the solution seems to be for Windows XP

We need to know the exact full error as it appears on the screen so you have to stop the reboot process so it can be read:
Disable UAC. Control Panel > System And Maintenance > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > Under Startup And Recovery > Click Settings > Clear the Automatically Restart check box > click OK. Enable UAC.

Right but it's telling me I would have to plug in my keyboard before I plug in my hub. I've been using this keyboard for about a year, never plugged in the USB port portion of it. Left it plugged in with USB hub the whole time and this is the only time I've gotten the error. :\

I agree this can be confusing, but trying to solve these problems can create odd scenarios. Sometimes systems seem to work around different setups, until an upgrade occurs for example. I just wanted to point this out.

I'm not meaning to interfere with jholland1964, what she is saying is good advice and still follow her help.

Hope this gets resolved.

I tried starting up my computer with hub unplugged. When shutting down with hub still plugged in, I get the blue screen. When shutting down without hub plugged in, screen goes blank but computer is definitely still on, like if I put it on hibernation or sleep or power saving mode.
