    Dram Antitrust Class Action

    http://www.dramantitrustsettlement.com/dram/Default.htm

Don't know how this works, or how you feel about it.

Because it is my opinion that CRUCIAL/MICRON does make (and) sell a good product, at an exceptional value I will be EXCLUDING myself from the ACTION against them.

There are other vendors included in the ACTION that have already settled, so if you have a beef with them, or made purchases with them, you stand a chance to have a pro-rated sum of money awarded to you.

Here is where exclusion becomes your best interest.

Your exclusion from the class action will protect your individual rights from being violated by the claim and although the time period for due process has expired for you to take any action against the companies, being excluded from the class action also keeps you protected from any action awarded to the defendants against you by the courts for being part of the class.

Do you like your memory and the prices you paid?

Don't want lawyers including your purchase prices in their CLAIMED total against the companies based on the sales records from mid 1999 through mid 2002?

Don't want the lawyers having more grubby money?

You can OPT OUT of the CLASS ACTION for any reason via the link above,

You have to write an Exclusion letter and mail it in by OCTOBER 3rd 2006.

I avoid anything that will make a lawyer more money.

I think most of those blood sucking leaches need to be shot.

Mathster, according to the class action, the lawyers will earn not more than 25% of the total settlements "so far 170million" so, for sure 18 percent of that is for the lawyers... I guess infineon has offered a settlementas fee's for the litigation and to cover other expenses such as ousourced professional legal assistants you know Paralegal's the lacky's n stuff so yeah, leaches have their own parasites to feed so they have to get the most buck for the bang, in this case they have secured themselfs minimum of 28million dollars over those pricewars when memory chip plants and their currier's were demo'd by storms and natural disasters.... The more people that don't exclude themselfs the more money they tag onto their total in the suite against the companies that did direct sales... Of course this is legal, they didn't cause a monopoly but they did some price fixing based on supply and demand, soo if this is a success, when are we going to be included in the class action suit against the "oil and petroleum" industry for price fixing the gasoline and suit against the government for making it almost illegal to have a non petroleum fossile fuel powered vehicle....

Bah. Most of the money is coming from Chinese companies, so I don't have much of a problem with it. I'm with America on this one.
