Hello bartdude,
PP is exactly right...you are running HiJackThis improperly. It should never, EVER be run from a temp file. Also, the log itself, as you posted it here is incomplete. It is missing a key element and that is the top part of the log which would show similar to this example;
Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1
Scan saved at 10:40:47 PM, on 02/16/2007
Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)
You have to include the top part of the log in order for those reading the log to know, when the scan was completed, the operating system and the version of Internet Explorer. We also need this to know that you are running an up to date version of HiJackThis itself.
Next, HiJackThis is NOT a "Fix it all" tool, it is a scanner which will show you what "might" need fixing and is only to be used AFTER all other cleaning steps have been complete...you will find those steps in the link that PP posted for you. Some fixes might done with HJT, but MOST are not...other tools are used for fixes generally and sometimes manual fixes are required. Fixes which do require the use of HJT should be done only on instructions of the person reading your log.
You do show some items which could be fixed but we need to see the entire log, and only after you have completed the steps given in PP's link. Once you have completed those then run a NEW HJT scan, save the ENTIRE log and post it back here along with the log from AVG Anti-spy.
