No luck. Chkdsk ran and didn't seem to find anything wrong, except some free disk space that it said was marked as occupied. Didn't say it found any problems with files.
Same problem. It was supposed to restart after running checkdsk, and I had to manually shutdown. Then started it up again, which is really fast since everything is still unchecked in startup and in services (except the microsoft that you instructed me to hide), and same problem at shutdown. Won't shutdown except manually. AND I just noticed that the antivir virus scanner isn't active, which isn't good. Probably hasn't been active since installation which was yesterday? or was it the day before? the days run together when you have a problem like this.
I'm in trouble here.
