    Limewire removal help

First off, I know i cant spell and that my grammer is bad so...

My younger brother in all his wisdom decided to install limewire in order to try to get some music. he decided that he did not like the quality that he was getting and unistalled limewire. he then deleted the file he downloaded with the program in it. he thought that the had gotten rid of it but informed me that he got kicked off of his schools internet for using too much bandwidth before figuring out that limewire was still somehow active and using bandwidth. he closed it and then used the search feture in XP to look for anything named limewire and then deleted 3 files and 2 copies of the application (a .exe file). He wants to know if there is anything else he needs to do or is all of lime wire gone. I can't think of anything else but I did not think that limewire could be this much of a problem to get rid of. any help would be great thanks.

This smells like some sort of a malware infection but this is the wrong section so I am moving your thread to the correct forum. Please read through the steps in this sticky and then post the log files back here.
