Access denied on old hard drive?

I recently bought a new PC and i want to transfer my files from my old internal hard drive to my new hard drive.

I added the old drive to my new PC as a slave and it came up in Explorer, but when i go to access a folder in my name (which i think has all my old data on it) it says "Access denied". I can access every other folder on that old drive except this one. The only password i used on my old drive was the admin login password, is this blocking me access to this particular folder?

I have the same O/S on my new PC as i did on my old PC.

Is there anyway of getting access to this folder?

    Thnx

might be a little slow on the reply to this.. I did some searching when I first saw your post but came up with nothing usefull till tonight, I re-searched for password protected or encrypted folders and found an article on support.microsoft.com about taking ownership of files/directories.. here's a link to the article. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=308421
