    Corrupted download

Ok, I tried downloading Photoshop CS3 Trial in FireFox, it came out corrupted, then I tried downloading in Internet Explorer, corrupted.

How do I get it to come out NOT corrupted?

I don't want to answer your question with another question but you should ask yourself these questions, then consider if changing something on your computer might help; how many Megabytes is the download? how much free ram do you have? do you have dynamic page file? or fixed page file? If you have enough free ram to download the file into ram, rather than TEMP hard drive, or if you have a fixed page file and windows can use the page file to cache the download then you might be OK; If nothing else, consider the source of the download is corrupted..

up there where I say "If nothing else," you could read that as, maybe try netscape download manager, or some other download manager 3rd party application.

Is this the same computer as the one in the threads above that had
    Used Space: 29.4 GB
    Free Space: 2.42 GB
    ....?

Did You Clean it up and free up some space yet?
Don't forget too, this is a beta version...not the final product.

Are you downloading and saving the file or downloading and running the file?
Are you downloading the .exe file or the .zip file?
If you are downloading the zip file and it is corrupted they recommend using a download manager.
Where are you downloading from? Give us the address.

An old favorite would be getright, instructions are included in most download managers, but it's pretty straight forward. The manager will intercept downloads and take over the opperation. Other managers will have an extra context menu via right clicking on the target link, this will provide the normal windows popup menu that will allow you to select "save target" with the manager application.

I'm getting the download to check it out, CS3 beta for windows. There's two links, windows/mac be sure you get the right one for your system.

Other than that, I will try downloading with the windows standard downloader and one with a manager to see if the source is corrupt or not.
