    If you use that SpywareBlaster program they won't even get onto the computer in the first place. It is a SUPER program, doesn't run in the background but DOES keep a lot, if not most, of those you had from even getting on the computer.

    I have been using a small standalone freebie called ReadOnly.exe to easily scan and change the 'read-only' attributes of files and folders so since I didn't see the utility being available anymore, you are welcome to download it from here where I am attaching...
