    Hi

Have looked in vain for a thread which might deal with a problem which I am currently experiencing.
Whenever I use Mozilla Firefox and enter a request in the google search, up comes previous entries which begin with the first word of each request.
I wonder if there is a way to disable this happening.
It does not occur using IE
Is there a possible way which this can be disabled in Firefox.

    Thanks

Is this using the Google Toolbar or directly from the actual google page?

To disable AutoComplete in Mozilla Firefox (turn off autocomplete):

    • Select "Tools" then "Internet Options".
    • Select the "Privacy" tab.
    • Open "Save form information" category.
    • Remove the check mark from the "Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar".
    • Click OK.

I usually go to favourites / click on google, then the google search function becomes available

    Hi

    Follow up to my last.
Went through procedure once again and found a slight discrepancy in your response.
    Your response stated as follows:
*Remove the check mark from the ''Saved information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar*
whereas stated was *'Remove what I enter in forms and the Search Bar*

Have since done that and problem solved.

Thanks for your fix and sorry for misunderstanding
