The Rogue Nation of Gizmokid2005 is a huge, economically powerful nation, notable for its burgeoning Gremlin population. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 258 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.
The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked morass -- concentrates mainly on Education, although Public Transport and Healthcare are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 39%. A healthy private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Trout Farming, and Beef-Based Agriculture industries.
The tenet of free speech is held dear, schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, and police officers are seen patrolling the streets armed with satellite-guided truncheons. Crime is moderate. Gizmokid2005's national animal is the Gremlin, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the cheque.
Gizmokid2005 is ranked 7th in the region and 55,495th in the world for Highest Police Ratios.
