You can easily squeeze more mileage out of diesel trucks of any sort, increased filtration, improved exhaust, and a tuner are the top 3 best ways to do it. And with it being older, everything is broke in so it runs easier.
But on your comment, I didn't know Mathster was referring to a Diesel truck! If so, then yeah, it does make sense.
