    Win XP BOOT Problem

    hi i have a problem when i turn my computer on it goes to my windows xp booting screen but will not load or go any farther it just stays there and i get the dos files running down. how do i fix it and get windows to boot...i dont have a windows boot disc or a floppy.can i get it into safe mode somehow or or fix it some other way...THANKS!!!!!!!

    What was the last thing you did on this system before the problem started?
    Can you boot in Safe Mode?
    Also please give us some more info on the issue/system.

    System Info.....??????

    Sorry it took so long to reply, but I have to use a friends computer while mines down...Well my friend was computer off byjust turnin the tower off wwhile my computer was still running also. Also I can get in in safe mode but it still wont load in safe mode i have also brought up the windows advanced options screen by pressing f8 as the computer tower is turning on it brings up a bunch of options like debugging mode ect.. and i have tried all of these but none of these will load windows do you think the hard drive is corrupted what do i do and if this isnt enough info just message me back requesting more....Thanks so much for your help!!!!!

    Driver, again what was the last thing significant modification you have done on this troubled system (installed/uninstalled a program, device drivers, a hardware component, etc.)?

    Also, to what point does Windows load up to? describe the screen (first time XP logo shows up, second time the logo shows up with the scrolling blue bar at the bottom or in safe mode, after it displays system files loading up with a list of files scrolling to a point of halt, etc.)?
