I hate to say it, but same deal.

Took forever to start up, took forever to open IExplorer. And still laggy/choppy on youtube videos.

Have you updated your drivers as recommended earlier?

How are you connected to the internet?

That slow boot up and the slow IE opening still makes me think it could possibly be that Symantec program you have to use. Too bad you cannot temporarily disable all of it and see if that makes a difference.

But as far as choppy video that can be graphics driver, slow internet, out of date flash...list goes on and on

Finally I am able to uninstall it. The computer runs better...but still audio/video is choppy as well as slow start up and slow start up of programs.

What about an absolute "Restart" of the computer, would someone like me who is smarter than the average person in computers, but not as smart as you guys be able to do a complete restart of my computer?

Would you be able to walk me through the steps easily?

When you say restart...do you mean reformat? This means wiping everything off the drive and then reinstalling everything. Are you sure that is what you mean? You would need all disks that came with the computer...operating system disk, disk which contains all drivers, all program install disks....

exactly...I do not have all the discs, and do not know if someone could locate them for me back home since I am at college. Do you think if I purchased the computer from Dell 4 years ago they would still send me new ones?

You asked about the games this weekend - We (#17 nationally ranked Ferris State Hockey) swept #18 Nationally Ranked Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks. Improved our home record to 10-0 at home with 5 back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back home sweeps.

13-3 on the year, Look out notre dame

We've also swept #1 Miami (Ohio) Redhawks as well as Ohio State Buckeyes and UConn (connecticut). We are having an amazing year, something that doesn't happen too often for Ferris State.
