Update MBA-M and run another Full Scan with it. Have it Remove Everything found. Post the log back here.

2 hours and 4 minutes later...and only 76K files scanned...that's a problem.

4hrs....103,000 files scanned. This is terrible

Dom, I have never seen MBA-M take this long ever. Are you doing anything else on the computer?

I was doing nothing on the computer at the time. Here is the log:

Boy Dom, honestly have never seen this before. This of course shows nothing, but it certainly shouldn't have take 4+ hours to scan either. Have a log from my MBA-M with very nearly the same number of objects scanned and it took 1 hour and 13 minutes.
I did ask PP to take a look at this, not sure if he will get the time or not. All I can say is you either have a badly corrupted computer, or a badly infected computer. Be assured I am still looking into this but right now I have no other solutions than the reformat/reload that we discussed earlier. You did order the disk from Dell, right?

Hey Judy,

I just got my CD today in the mail. We are playing our rival Western Michigan University tomorrow (Friday) and Buffalo Wild Wings (Bar&Grill) is using my laptop to stream the game video over their T.V.'s, so I am pretty sure I do not want to reformat my computer today, juuuust incase I screw something up and then the bar has nothing and a lot of people will be upset.

I have a question, am I able to use this same CD on my other computer as well? Or is that illegal, and I cannot do that?
