    Hey Judy,

It was a fluke, computer is still slow and choppy. Better, may I add...but still not good. I do not understand why the start up of the computer takes so long, and the start up of many programs.

Hmm...going to try the graphics thing you said in earlier posts.

Question Dom, was this a NEW copy of Combofix or the one you all ready had on the machine?
Your anti-virus program WAS running when this was done, so that very well may have interfered with the proper running.
It doesn't show anything new added over Thanksgiving but there were some things removed.

I downloaded a new copy from your link.

I honestly do not know how to terminate Symantec. I open up the Symantec window, nothing about disabling. I cannot disable it on my taskbar. I cannot disable it via CTRL+ALT+Delete... I dont know.

Computers running better, but I just wish it was smooth you know? I just ran the Belarc scan, for Multimedia, all that comes up is SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC.

Yes, this is similar to what I show. You WILL have a dial up modem on there even though you don't use it.

    SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC.
That's the audio not the video. Look in System Properties, Hardware, Device Manager see if there is a graphics card listed.

Nope Dom, you are looking in the wrong place. You should look under Display Adapters on the Device Manager. Look at my attachment.

Double click on that Mirage Driver and see what driver version is on there.

Have to leave for awhile Dom. Once you see what driver version is there you might look for a new driver. OR go to Dell, and look to see what driver was there when you got the computer. You should be able to pull up all info about your computer by going to support. OR you CAN chat with them online, usually that is available or it used to be.
