Yes. Windows7 is a VERY nice OS. I've been using it in boot camp on my MacBook while my desktop was down. I think I'm going to jump this ship, at least as a dual-boot even before SP1 comes out.

I'm thinking the same 64bit=fail, considering; I haven't had a use for it due to most of my photo editing applications needing to be run in compatability mode on 64bit, and some of the 64bit drivers for audio/video/lan don't play well with my older games. After reading all the drawbacks, I didn't even bother to install xp64, still sitting in the package!
The only added benifit I found for xp64 bit over xp32bit was support for more system ram.
The CPU/MEMORY support and SSD enhancements are good enough reasons/benifits for me to move to Windows 7
The work and time envolved, testing backup/restore, re aligning borked partitions, restoring/re-installing windows xp 32bit, reconfiguring the OS to reduce system drive write activity etc.. totaly eclipses the benifit of having an SSD array in the first place..
I'm looking forward to getting the qx machine working to it's potential and I think windows seven might do it.
