    ebay rant

Ontop of them jacking up their seller prices again!!!!! They have now started HIDING bidders contact info!!! All they show in the bidder history is "bidder 1" "bidder 2" etc.. This leaves a HUGE question as to the validity of the auction.

With no way for each bidder to tell who is who, they have no way of knowing weather or not someone is in an actual fair auction with another person or just a random shill bidder that is working for the seller "or someone else" to jack up the final bid. This would be a huge favor to the secret society that targets individual buyers in order to either cost them more or deny them purchasing something at below retail, to preserve economy!!! considering the conspiracy oportunity HAY!!! you can't prove they are or aren't doing this so they might as well start doing it if ebay is going to block the info between bidders..... Ebay makes sooo much money it's stupifying!!!, They charge for this, charge for that, charge for that again, raise the price of the charge for that every year etc. With as much stuff going down on ebay that's less than legitimate, this new ID hiding trick just leaves one more avenue to rip someone off!!

    Lightbulb

I hardly ever use eBay and only as a buyer anyhow. If I find a very good deal, it has to be as a 'buy now' price not the bid sh*t, since a person is SOL on winning any of the good deal's without an action sniping software, I don't ever get in it...

I did realize back in the day is the whole site is geared towards filling eBay's bank account. Perhaps, if enough number of people boycotted eBay and cease their acitivity with a clear complaint statement, they might realize they need to ease up on their online acution mafia?

eBay stopped being a source to find a good deal about 2-3 years ago when the yuppy era and retiree folks discovered it and decided they didn't want to work a real job. ...lazy @ss mofo's!

So now... eBay is loaded with people trying to make a living instead of recouping some of their money invested when trying to unload an item. Proof is in the shipping costs from those "deals".

The place is also loaded with super dumb@ss people with lots of money too. I regularly see H&R/NEF rifle barrels selling for $120-$250(2x-4x the cost at the manufacturer).

Most of the people on eBay should be buying/selling shares on the stockmarket instead of buying items for a quick turn-around.

    I totally agree!
But one thing that eBay could still be usefull is when 'real offline' stores use it as an outlet to get rid of their clearance, overstock items. I got the best deals on 2 motorcycle jackets from the same store on eBay that turned out to be a real store in Oregon using eBay to sell their overstock cheap to everyone out there. I have searched on and offline for the best prices on couple of Teknic jackets (one leather and the other textile) and for the price of what one sells, I got both! Books and CDs, I mostly use Amazon, for some of the computer crap I use pricewatch...

I use ebay occassionally...usually for the hard to find stuff, such as ancient computer games (read Monster Truck Madness) and whatnot...if I find a good deal I may consider it. But I agree, if they are pulling that crap, it's a load of BS...though they did recently DECREASE their prices slightly....
