My problem is not with spyware itself but the resident scanning program i've been using.
For quite some time I've been using Webroot Spysweeper and have always been impressed right up until back in June I decided to subscribe again and download the latest verion (6.1.0 build 128)
To do a full system scan it takes 50+hours to complete. The old version I had didn't take this long.
I know this version had issues with AVG and Anti-vir so I'm using Avast. I've tried to contact Webroot support regarding this but from what I read and have now experienced, they do not get back to their customers but instead email me broken links with descriptions the have nothing to do with my problem.
I'm pretty sure it's not a spyware issue causing this because I'm pretty good about keeping this PC clean by using the instructions in the Sticky on a monthly basis.

Just curious if anyone has experienced and/or resolved this same problem.
