    Cool It's been a while

Since I started a new thread, so I figured I'd start one on my new computer I've had it for a few months now, just been way too lazy to deal with it. New specs are as follows (bold = new):

    AMD Phenom II x4 920 @ 2.8Ghz
    ASRock A780GXE
    4GB OCZ PC2-8500
    Sapphire HD4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Ex16

    250GB WD SATA w/16MB cache
    320GB WD SATA w/16MB cache
    2x Asus 22x DVD/CD +/-RW DL SATA
    Raidmax Hybrid 630W Modular PSU
    2x 19" 5ms Acer Widescreen LCD
    (1 is new)

And the obligatory pictures (these were taken before I put in the new vid card, also- excuse the quality, the white splotches are from my POS digicam's crappy processing - I'll get new ones soon enough):

    "I love You Nicole"
    "I love You Michael"
    Haha...so cheesy!

Anyhow, not a bad system at all Quizmo but I didn't notice any noteworthy modding!

Also, who/what is the medication for?

Lol. Nothing said "I love you Nicole" :P Time to get your sight checked again :P The wall behind the monitors is stuff she's made me, mainly.

Yeah, no noteworthy mods on this one, everything is basically stock, the only things I've really modded on it are, I added 2 cold blue cathode lights to it, top and bottom, and a fan in the CPU cooling tube...other than that, it's pretty stock. I did flirt with the idea of water cooling, but I decided against it, I can't afford to setup something like that, plus this thing is heavy enough to begin with, and this is the same machine I take gaming with me.

Medication = Protonix (now Aciphex) for my stomach problems. I had eosinophilic esophagitis which caused my throat to swell and hard to swallow some things, which was of course, caused by acid reflux, bad for a few years (which I never understood, I could eat anything under the sun and be fine, then I couldn't eat anything without a problem). So the pills are for my acid reflux (I can tell if I stop taking them for a few days because of a Rx lapse or something), and for my nausea that I get just about EVERY time I eat...makes having a high metabolism really suck...I can't ever get enough to eat, but by the time I stop having hunger pangs I'm about ready to barf so I have to stop eating...happens all the time now.

And I suppose something else ya'll haven't heard about (I don't think)...I'm gonna get hitched too (it's been over 3 months since I proposed, but I haven't been around here much (it's been too dead to show my face anyways)). You can see some stuff at our engagement blog (yeah, I know it's cheesy, but that's what you get when you mix a computer geek with something like this). You can see more pictures here.

We have set the date for 3/20/10. Long story behind that date, and I'm a bit tired to explain it tonight, maybe tomorrow.

    So yeah...it's been a while

Actually, I turned 22 this year, and found out about the stomach problems when I damn near choked to death a few times trying to swallow some meat. I was only 19 when I found out about it...The heartburn hadn't been that bad, but when I went in, it turns out I had all kinds of acid problems...so yeah. Figure that one out.

PS I was not MWAhahahahah mad scientist laughing at what you said in your post'; just at the content of my PM.. There's some real information in there, so... check into what you eat and what you can do towards anti bacterial/anti fungal think as in "yeast" like ergot fungi, or candida.. / UV exposure is supposed to be the death to some fungi, certain foods as medicine also..

I see this problem hitting people that are much younger than you and it's not by accident that they didn't notice.. It's because they can't tell due to the analgesic properties of the excretions by organisms in the throat, tonsil and upper GI.. The problem can lead to other serious diseases... It's sweeping the globe like a biological epidemic... and the people that are getting all the rewards.... "prilosec" etc... that's right.. they do nothing to fix the cause of the acid problem, but will treat the symptoms with drugs forever, as long as your symptoms and acid burns heal up and you keep taking the "antacid stuff" it's their paycheck...

oh and get your colonoscopy? because your eating habits sound like something that my dads friend was discribing... Couldn't stop eating... he's got some kind of cancer in his hershey highway and it was making him want to eat non stop.. The nausia is probly that part of the equation; food fermentation, by an organism that releases toxins that you absorb into your bloodstreem; like alcohol, but slightly different, it may also ruin your ability to controll your blood sugar and lead to diabetes..
