    Issue with Rainmeter?

Hi guys, I recently installed Rainmeter just yesterday. I tried to watch a video with VLC Media Player. It's just an AVI, nothing crazy. I have all the codecs installed and working but when I try to watch the video, its a blank screen. There's no video, even though the video settings are on the right video track. I can hear the audio but no video. I have tried closing down the program and starting up the video again but nothing.

When I close Rainmeter though, the video is still not there but I can close down VLC and re-open the video and the video track is there. Perfectly clear. Any idea on what's wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

Without knowing more about your system and software it's going to be kind of hard to even know what application/s you are talking about.. Although, considering the information that you have provided; If the Rainmeter that you are talking about is the computer system monitoring software; it supports "transparency effects" so it may have to do with video drivers and media player overlay settings. Open up your video player and select options, video playback; then look for a settings that looks something like "allow video overlay" and try changing it and testing to see if that does anything.
