    Computer running slower than normally.

I believe that I am prone to messing up my computer. Over the past week my computer's performance has been awful. The online scanner said 0 infections but didn't produce a log. Well, here's my HJT log and the other two.

Have you done a general clean up...empty temp files and the like?
    How about a defrag?
One thing I note running on the computer is Skype. While the program itself is fine it IS a major resource hog and will definitely slow the computer.
I would recommend turning this off except when you are using it and also disable the auto start when Windows boots up, this definitely slows start time. Discovered this on my daughter's computer when she complained of sudden slow downs and freezing on boot.
Turned off the Skype program and that all stopped.
Open the Skype program and there is a box with a check mark in it which says Start when Windows starts. Take that check mark out of there and reboot the computer.
Skype can very easily be run manually when you want to do it.
Also what is this CurseClient program?
You are also running the very old version of HJT. Remove that one and download the newest version from HERE
Save it to the desktop and then doubleclick to run the program. Do a full system scan with it and save the log and post it here.

Ok, I disabled skype from start up. CurseClient is from www.curse.com. It is a game client. The site says that it takes up very little memory while running. It is for WoW. Here is the new log.

Skype still shows as running. Basically, many programs run when not needed, this is why I asked about this CurseClient program. If those types of programs are only actually run when needed then no matter what the program creator says, it DOES save resources. Check in task manager and see how much resources are actually used by this program, even when you are not gaming. Let me go through this log and I will get back with you.

No, that isn't a lot, but it is IF it doesn't need to be running all the time. You have a lot of programs running all the time which are not required. These of course are your choice BUT the more unnecessary programs running do consume resources and then DO slow the computer. So in other words you are giving up speed for the convenience of not having to "click" to open a program you may use occasionally or not all day.

Is that the only problem for the slowness, or is there a virus or something else wrong?

I don't see anything in your logs which indicate infections. Since this has been going on for only a short time, a week I believe you said, then you have to look at what you have done recently which would have changed the performance. Any new programs, any new downloads, does this happen all the time or only online? All of those can be a major factor. There has to be one thing probably that has resulted in the sudden reduction in performance.
ANYTHING that runs in the background, even when you are NOT using it specifically WILL consume resources. Think of your car, turn on the engine and just idle...it IS using fuel, whether you are actually driving or not. Turn you car on, don't move it, let it idle for days and it WILL run out of gas even if you don't leave your driveway. There are many ways that resources are used unnecessarily and having programs running that you aren't using is the key way. Think of it this way...when you clean your house you turn on the vacuum cleaner and use it, because it is necessary at that time. But you wouldn't even consider letting it run all the time in the background because it would make it quicker to use by not having to turn it on everytime you want to use it. You turn it on when you need it, you don't let it run because you "might" need it.
    You said that the
CurseClient is using roughly 3,665 K of memory
, no it isn't a lot, BUT what OTHER processes are also running because of it? A program generally doesn't run totally alone, there are other system processes which run along with it in order for it to run correctly within the system. If it is turned off then these other processes are also turned off. Skype is the key one at the moment I see causing a lot of resource usage. I discovered this last week working on another computer. The computer had been super fast, boot time was super fast and suddenly both slowed to a crawl. Began to investigate and there was that Skype program running and it alone was consuming 36,000K...that didn't count the other processes running because IT was running. We turned it off and the computer flew along like it had been doing before. Boot time was back to it's quick time. Now turning on the Skype program only when it was going to be used DID not create that tremendous drag that the computer showed when Skype came on with the Windows boot, it did slow things somewhat but using Skype and nothing else kept things perking along fairly well.
You have to consider what other processes also must run when a specific program is running.
    The programs I see running when this log was done which weren't necessary are the following;
    AIM
    SKYPE
    Curse
    HP Digital Imaging
    Windows Search service
    iTunesHelper
    QuickTime Task
    Google Update
    WindowsWelcomeCenter
    TrayIt!
You also are showing some remaining Norton files on there, not running apparently but they show in the log. Those should be uninstalled.
