The version of HiJackThis is WAY, out of date, at least a couple years. You should be using the newest version which is available HERE.
Get rid of that old version entirely and then run a full system scan with the newest version and please copy/paste that log here.
You DO need to totally remove that Norton program. As noted the virus definitions are 10 years old. You should completely UNINSTALL it via Add/Remove. Then do a file search for all files named Norton, delete all you find, then do the same for Symantec and delete all you find.
As far as the online antivirus scanners, they are NOT running on the machine. Those are the activeX programs associated with those online scanners which are needed to run them. It is ok to leave them on the machine. Bear in mind, online scanners do NOT offer protection, they just scan and some of them remove, like the ESET scanner. Those really wouldn't need to be removed. The Windows Defender, as Cauz has said, really is a resource hog, and frankly I don't think it does what it claims to do. I would uninstall that also.
Then I would advise installing ONE of the good, FREE anti-virus programs. I myself use Antivir and am very pleased with it. I does update automatically but you will have to scan manually at least weekly. Also, when it updates you will generally always receive a pop-up asking you to purchase the paid program, just "X" that out.
One program showing in your HJT log which consumes SCADS of resources when it is running all the time is Skype. This doesn't need to start with Windows, and WILL cause start up to freeze on occasion, found this on my daughter's computer. Open the Skype program and there is a box which will have a check mark in it which says Start when Windows starts. Take the check mark OUT of there and reboot the computer. Skype can be run whenever you want but when you use it be sure that close the program BEFORE shutting down the computer and also when you are not using it. Also be sure that it doesn't automatically put that check mark back in there when you use it, some programs do.
Uninstall that Norton program, install the new antivirus program, stop the Skype from running and run a new HJT log and post it here.
