Then you have to open task manager and ensure that there are no instances of that file, or any other of your antivirus's file's runing in processes or applications... Once you have verified that, then you run the removal tool..... It's a real pain..

Since I no longer have access to the original Norton program, would there be any (much) harm in 'letting sleeping dogs lie'? If not, I am fine with it staying there.
