    Favorite Internet Security Suites

I would like to solicit the opinions of the learned persons in this
newsgroup about which antispyware security suite programs they like
the best. I like Kasperski. When my PC went down once upon a time
and nothing could cure it. Kasperksi worked like a charm and I have
never been infected since using it. But time passes, on and I do not
know what is now on the market and wether Kasperski is still "cutting
edge". What do my fellow geeks think?

I never place my eggs in one (1) basket. Pending on user and make/type of
operating system, a "security suite" can consist of one (1) freely
    available good-quality AV application.

Kaperski sounds very good. Their adverts speak highly of it...

I'm using Kaspersky on Win7 right now because they have a free 3 month trial
for Win7 beta users. I like the AV part of it but am not a fan of the
firewall. Too many rules and permissions required that most users will not
understand. I prefer a good AV and just the Windows firewall along with the
firewall in my router. I'll keep Kaspersky for now but that firewall has to
go eventually. F-Secure is a pretty good security suite if your a fan of
    complete suites.

I recently purchased 50 licenses of G Data for my company which I would recommend for its ease of use and cenral administration. G Data itself is just an application that allows you to run scans & administrate the protection etc. however G Data does not have a paticular engine, it will secure use of 2 of the top rated engines at any paticular time which is reviewed Bi-annually. It also seems to use a lot less system resources than some other anti virus software we have used in the past.
