    URL I posted - sorry.

    VIPRE is legitimate antimalware software and Sunbelt software is listed
    as part of virustotal.

    Seems to work well and the company is very responsive to comments &
    questions

    might also read http://sunbeltblog.blogspot.com/ to see some of the
    stuff going on.

    What I really meant to say is that SunBelt certainly plugs enough of their software
    in the Blog URL as above, yes, it is existing Legit software and I have no qualms
    with that.

    it's recommended to have both antivirus and antispyware programs, because they look for different kinds of threats. and if you only have antispyware or only antivirus your computer is not protected. antivirus and antispyware programs shouldn't conflict and disturb each others functions if you know what i mean.
