I've got an ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard. Right now I'm running a lamo MSI radeon X700. I wanna kick in some more oomph, as a lot of games are starting to leave this setup in the dirt. This mobo is dual card capable. I've got a P4 3.2mhz CPU, 3gb ddr2 800 RAM. Supposedly the ASUS website has a list of supported cards for this mobo, but since the website sucks @$$, you can't find anything. I don't want to get two $200 cards, but I wouldn't mind spending up to $150 each. Are any cards that say they support SLI usable in this mobo? I know I need to get two of the same. Anyone got any suggestions? Is there a downside to running 2 cards in PCI-E? Is there a single $200 card that would be a better option?
I'm open to suggestions.
