Maybe a little. I have AnVir task manager running and it has a CPU monitor in the task bar tray. So I will watch that. Maybe I have too many things running? I notice that a-squared sometimes uses a lot of CPU as does Firefox. It seems that iTunes also is loading on startup even though I thought I had stopped that. Is there any way to prevent this or do I just uninstall it and find another way to get music on my shuffle? It seems even though I have 2 GB of RAM I still can't run more than one program at a time, especially if it has any video to it.
OK, I've been trying to run a YouTube video and it is still not running smoothly. Maybe my computer is just getting old and tired. I know I ought to replace it, but being out of work at the moment that's probably not going to happen any time soon.
