I've got 33.7 G, but only about 5.9 G free. I am working at cleaning that up and freeing up more space. I'll run Defraggler later and see if that helps any. I've gat a bunch of programs that I think were work related so I may uninstall those and see where it gets me as well.

Since I have not heard back from you in several days I have no idea what is going on with the computer. However, your infection removal process is not complete. You need to uninstall combofix since it is no longer needed. It shouldn't be re-used.
    To uninstall do the following:

    • Click START then RUN
    • Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.
    • When shown the disclaimer, Select "2"

Sorry, Judy. I was unable to access the site for a couple days. Kept getting an error message. I ran Defraggler and I have uninstalled Combofix. I also ran an Avira AntiVir scan and a-squared Anti-malware scan. Nothing showed up on the Avira scan and the a-squared scan is still running at the moment.

What would you like me to do next?

If all came up clean then I would say all is fine.

Thanks, Judy! My laptop seems to be running a bit better now.

However, my wife seems to have picked up a virus on her Lenovo Thinkpad that is preventing us from getting past the screen to choose which mode to start in. No matter what we choose we get the message that there is a virus and it sends us right back to that screen. I will start that up in a different thread, though.
