Super Slow - too many processes?

My computer has started running super slow. I think I have too many processes going, but I have no idea what is what. I'll attach a hijack log if it will help, or do I need to post the misconfig list? I've gotten the blue screen a couple of times. And sometimes windows won't close until I mannually clost tfswctrl.exe because it has stopped running. I don't have any idea what that is, but I think maybe it's something suspicious. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

Your log is a bit difficult to read formatted this way. A plain text file is easier, for me at least, but will work on it in a bit.
Give us more info on the computer itself...hd size, how much ram installed. When did it become so slow? Have you followed the steps given here
    tfswctrl.exe
Drive letter access to HP's and Veritas' version of DirectCD. Does the same thing as DirectCD. From HP - "This is a needed file as it controles the readability of the Combo drives. Without this file loading the end user will be able to burn CD's but wont be able to read them. The drive itself will be able to read store bought master Cd's without the file but not burnt ones"

I haven't done all of the steps, such as downloading AVG Anti-Spyware because I already have alot of that. I even removed SpyDoctor (I think that's what it's called) when I installed the new Window Internet Explorer because someone said that IE had it's own spyware and they were conflicting.
I will do the steps and then rerun HijackThis log and repost as a text file.
    Thanks!

I cannot comment on SpyDoctor because I have never used it. I use only the security programs recommended in PP's post here on htis board. If by Windows Internet Explorer you mean Internet Explorer v. 7...this is STILL Microsoft Internet Explorer. Microsoft is the manufacturer of Windows. If you are not talking about IE v.7 then please explain what browser you have downloaded.
Internet Explorer itself does NOT contain spyware. It is or has been known to contain security holes or flaws (which Microsoft continues to patch) which can ALLOW spyware to enter, but it does not contain spyware. It has become known as the least secure browser but it truly doesn't contain spyware itself. The new version 7 is supposed to be more secure than past versions, but it Still is Internet Explorer.

You absolutely MUST download and run AVG Anti-spy. This is a key program to help clean and also locate many items that other programs do not. We rely heavily on it here to help us assist you in getting your computer clean.

    Question

I wonder if he was referring to AVG-Antivirus and Windows Defender for having some sort of a conflict?

I wondered that also, but then decided he must have mean IE7...
