I do some work for my mom who is the owner of a Tax Company. Until this year, I have never had to have the computers with all of the clients information hooked up to the internet. The computers do not have wireless cards and I do not plug them into anything other then battery back-ups and the printers. This year the company that we get our software from is releasing the updates on the internet and I need to download them. My mom (and I) would feel better if I have anti-virus protection on the computers. Both run windows XP and are fairly new computers. One is an AMD anthlon 3400+ processer and the other is a Pentium 4, 3.20GHZ with 512 Ram. I would rather attach the Pentium 4 to the internet and then just copy and paste the files that are needed to the other. I know a little about computers but would like opions on what anti-virus software I should use as it is not only my information that is being protected. The computers would only be hooked up to the internet for a little time as was needed to download the updates. They are only supposed to be 100MB updates at the largest. Thanks very much for your help.
