I don't see anything except excessive programs auto starting and then running in the back ground but if you haven't added anything then doubt that is the problem. What version of Firefox are you running?
Have you done a general clean up...temp files and the like? Have you done a defrag lately? I can go through and give you a list of unnecessary programs running at start up if you like and see if that makes a difference.

yes please list them. i went into my startup and deleted everything in that folder; is there somewhere else I need to remove these from? i have done scan disk; defrag, malware scan, etc..... the last 2 things added were an itunes update and a mozilla update; i only have 512MB ram on this PC could that be the culprit that all of a sudden the programs are tying up too many resources?

Give me a bit and I will get the list for you. Yes, that amount of RAM could be part of the problem.
Adding more RAM is essentially an easy and fairly inexpensive way to speed the computer. Go to Crucial.com to do a FREE and quick scan of the computer to see just how much RAM you can add to the system to help speed it up. They also are usually the cheapest place to purchase new RAM also. You can buy it there, they mail it, you install it, that is it. Very easy to install new RAM...if this is a desktop computer. Open the case, snap it in. Boot to be sure new RAM is noted by the computer, close the case and you are done.
