    I did a Google search on "superantispyware". There were numerous
    sites to download SAS from. Evidently I picked the wrong one.

    I downloded Version 4.23.1006 from the link you provided and got a
    clean edition installed. The bogus version was 4.23.0.1006.

    Report back after you've run it, and let us know what it found.

    SAS found two hits on Zango. Both were removed with no problem.

    I later ran Kaspersky Internet Suite. KIS found three instances of
    Zango, but only flagged them; there was no option to delete.
