Macro antivirus

Hi

A friend just called me up to say that he has Macro AntiVirus running
on his PC but it is not in the list of uninstall Programs under
Control Panel. I was most suspicious.

A quick check seems to reveal that it is rogue.

1) Can someone confirm that it is rogue?

2) How is it removed?

Did you mean "Micro AntiVirus 2009"? If so you should be able to use
MBAM to remove it. http://www.malwarebytes.org/
