    Spywareguard

I have installed Spywareblaster. Would it help if I also installed SpywareGuard? Or would it be redundant to do so? Is it true that the latest update is in 2004?

Can Spywareguard be used with other browsers such as Firefox or Opera?

    Thanks.

Now that most (I hope) users are using the real-time protection afforded them by AVG Anti-Spyware or Microsoft Windows® Defender, there is no need for an app such as Spyware Guard.

I suggest going with Windows® Defender and making sure all its Real Time Protection Options are enabled.

-- The way Spyware Guard works is similar to the advanced scanning heuristics of AV products. It never really needed "definition updates" to do it's job.
